Regarding the Gasthaus drive. Sue and Paul Lyon will lead the drive with no highways involved. Directions will be handed out before leaving.
A reconnaissance visit to the Gasthaus for lunch and a beer was made, when we spoke to the bar manager about the upcoming Oktoberfest event. They were preparing to erect the BIG TOP on Tuesday September 9th plus set up the outdoor food and beverage stations, stage and dance floor. It is a big event!
From Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, and Hofbräu beers imported directly from Munich Germany to roasted almonds, kettle corn, and Hammer-Schlagen, the most anticipated fall festival in Minnesota returns!
Gates open on Sunday from noon to 6pm (all ages welcome).

This will be the first year that they will also have the indoor restaurant open during the festivities. They use the majority of their space to accommodate the Oktoberfest celebration.
We asked about club parking. In short, they do not reserve parking with the exception of handicap permits. They already have an adjacent open grass field marked off as the parking space. Right now we advise to follow the MG in front of you when parking.
